Bad Brains

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurgh.

It seems that again another week-end was spent binge studying.
I know I shouldn't complain.
It's only couple months a year that we poor students have to produce an effort and the rest of the time, we drink coffee with fancy names on the grass of the Campus and we get drunk 6 days a week; while "real people" have jobs and responsabilities all year round.

I don't drink coffee nor alcohol though and I actually feel like I've been producing an intense effort for the past seven months so maybe if I was a little more like the stereotypical student I'd be chill by now and quietly flipping through my books while planning my vacations...
I'm not and I'm hidden between piles of books every goddamn day and it's starting to get on my nerves -if I think about it, it's also getting on my face (no sleep + intense stress : so not pretty) and on my butt too (crazy how quick you go through a box of cookies when you're lost in some obscure philosophy book)...

I'll get the last laugh though.
While my carefree comrades will be preparing themselves to redo exams this summer, I'll be taking the vacation that they planned and shoved in my face while I was studying my brains off.
AH!

I ain't saying she's a Gold Digger...

..but she sure is a broke ass shopper!

Some site finally opened today and as it was a cheaper branch of the so tempting but Oh so expensive Netaporter, I was pretty stoked.
The words Marc Jacobs, Luella and Christian Louboutin next to the magic word Discount made me go cuckoo, daydreaming about the fierce outfits I was gonna come up with once I'll be able to spike them with Louboutin sky high heels or a floral Luella dress.
No such luck.

Maybe 498 Pounds is pocket money for some but I sure don't have that money in my pocket nor anywhere right now actually so I guess the white satin pumps will find another happy owner.
As will the leppard print ones.

Guess I'll just have to buy me some red paint with my broke student budget and pretend that my worned out ballerinas are soaked in French glamour.
VoilĂ .

I need my ink injection !

A quick look at a calendar told me that my first exam is in just a little more than a month.
Knowing that it's only the first of a painful serie certainly explains the lack of blogging...

Easter holiday will again be spent studying and since Karma decided to be a real bitch lately (for no apparent reason -at least none I can think of) the sun has decided to take a vacation too and my days are a succession of gloomy rainy studying hours.
Not that good weather would make Political Economy less dreadful but maybe I wouldn't want to take my eyeballs out if I could at least work on my tan while eating that book -not litteraly, even though who knows what I'm gonna be up to in two months when my exam session is over?-

On a brighter note, I'm working on my backpiece and even though it still hasnt made it on paper yet, I'm getting a clearer idea of what it's gonna look like.
Anyone who got tattooed on the upper back to tell if it was painful?
I seem to have handled my other tattoos pretty well, except for the feet that were real bitches.
I only have a valid picture of the tattoo on my left feet which was one of my first ones and the pain kinda put me off for a little while but I since overcame it and added more.

Aint overcome yet the pain of busting those shoes though.

So anyways.
This post is boring even to me so maybe I'm gonna cut the crap and dive back into my books.

Yippee.

Spring!

Finally, winter seems to be coming to an end!
Cherry blossoms aren't quite blooming yet but yesterday, the blue sky and bright ( still a litle cold) sun got to us and we decided it'd be the perfect night to eat on our terrace.

Our current appartment has many downsides but the fact that it opens to a garden is a big plus -we're in the city afterall.

It wasn't quite hot enough yet to create some yummy salad so we settled on a somewhat Greek dinner.
The lamb burgers were perfectly complemented by the cucumber-tomato-feta salad and the garlic butter gave them that nice little extra taste.
(we're big garlic lovers but we hear it's super good for your health so nevermind the crazy smell).

We saved some meat for our cat but lamb didn't seem to be to his liking.

Speaking of our poor kitty, the woman living in the back of the garden decided to cut the tree out of the blue so instead of cruising around like he used to, he now spends his days waiting for his tree to grow back.

That's a pretty sad sight if you ask me.

Soooo....

So that whole 1st blog thing has been bothering me.
How are you supposed to start your blog?

I guess you might wanna say as many interesting things about you to get people interested in your blog but at the same time not give up too much...
You don't want people to lose interest in you after the first post cause they know everything already right?

Should I mention my obsession with sushi?
Or maybe focus on my love for oldschool tattoos and how I'm working my way into looking like a female Sailor Jerry?

After toying with many ideas and realizing that all my "1st blog tryouts" were pathetic I just gave up.
I guess in a way this little text says enough about my overanalizing self, doesnt it?

I'm still gonna join a picture of Bonnie to this post though.
Bonnie's my dog and she's kickass.
The animal considers that everything passing by her mouth wants a good ole biting and well, who would blame her?
She's also cute as a button so hopefully, if you don't wanna read my shit, you'll still stay in touch to follow the adventures of Bonnie B. !
